Cobbleacre Lakes caters for all types of angling disciplines

Situated just 10 miles from the seaside resort of Cromer, 12 miles from Wroxham the heart of the Norfolk Broads and 10 miles from the historic city of Norwich.
With a total of six lakes all stocked with specimen sized Carp, Tench, Bream, Catfish, Roach, Crucians, Ide, Big Perch To 4lb and Rudd.
Advice on tactics, bait and location are offered on your arrival and facilities include on site toilets & showers, shop with hot and cold food that can be delivered to the bank, Bait boat!Battery charging, Tackle Shop, Disabled Swims.

All facilities are cleaned everyday and are kept up to the highest of standards.

Mario's Lake :

The "big fish" water that is surrounded by mature woodland covers 3½ acres with depths ranging from 5 to 13 feet.
Its features include islands, deep margins, lily pads, and thick reed beds plus many other bottom features.
The lake is a real 'Bivvy boy' haven! with Ghosts, Mirrors and Commons averaging 19-20lb and going up to 31lb.
Catfish to 30Lb and Big Tench and Bream.
Best tactics are to fish margins or to the Island.

Adam's Lake :

Truly a water with some beautiful carp averaging 3-4lb but going to well over twenty pounds so the fish of a lifetime is always on the cards. The lake is ideal for pleasure anglers, it is not a lake you are likely to blank on! Tench average 4lb but the chance of a fish weighing 7-10lb is a real one, plus there are large bream to 13lb and a variety of silver fish.

Amy's Lake :

This is the match lake and is reserved on most Sundays, please check for availability. The lake is a mature 3 acre lake averaging 6-8 feet. It is a fantastic water and big weights are regularly taken The match record stands at 145lb. The lake holds a huge head of Carp 3-7lb average but they do run into double figures,Tench averaging 3lb but going to 8lb,Bream,Ide,Crucians,Rudd and big Perch.

Giana's Lake :

Gianas lake is around 2 acres and is our silver fish match lake containing prolific stocks of roach, rudd, ide, crucian carp, tench, bream, large perch 5lb+ and a few large wily old carp to 20lb+.

Alex & Sharon's Ponds :

This is the fun pool, it's around ¾ acre and offers fabulous fishing.
You are likely to catch many different species within this lake.
It holds prolific head of carp to 17lb+ but averaging 5lb, crucians 3lb+, large head of tench, roach, rudd, perch etc.
This little pool is a great place to spend a day or evenings fishing for all the family.

Rules :

Unhooking mats to be used at all times.
The use of keep nets are allowed, carp may be sacked for a short time for weighing & photos.
No fires allowed, stoves ARE permitted.
Bait boat can be used.
All fish must be returned to their own waters NO fish to be moved (LIFE TIME BAN IF BROKEN)
Litter must be taken home or placed in bins provided.
No live or dead baits, No nuts or peanuts
All particle bait must be pre-packed (NOT HOME COOKED)
Min 42" landing net, Min 12lb line on Mario's lake.
3 rod max Mario's lake, 2 rods on other lakes
Barbless hooks on Adam's, Alex's, Amy's, Giana's lakes.
Please remember that common sense prevails in all other issues

Directions :

Head for the A140 (past Norwich Airport) towards Cromer and Aylsham.

Pass the Airport on your right and continue on the A140 towards Aylsham and Cromer for approximately 7 miles.
You will see a sign for Hevingham village on your left hand side and then a pub called 'The Fox' on your right, take an immediate left after the pub down 'The Street).
Follow this road for approximately 800 yards and then take your first left onto Brick Kiln Road.

Follow the road and round the 'S' bend.
The lakes are on the left approx 100 yards, look out for the sign.
Follow the drive through the big white gates and carry on until you come to the Tackle shop.
