Harwood Hall
A stream fed 3 acre shallow controlled by "Becmain Angling Society".
Harwood Hall known locally as Parklands was originally part of the Gaynes Manor estate.
Becmain Angling Society have managed the lake since 1964. The fishery is stream fed, one bank is owned by the Havering Council, and the other bank is rented by the club from a local estate with a members only section.
The lake was desilted in 1966 and the silt trap where the stream comes in is desilted once a year. After the 1966 desilting the lake was restocked with Carp, Roach, Tench, Rudd and Bream.
Harwood Hall is home to a wide variety of fish including Carp to 29lb and Pike to 32lb. Bream have been caught to 3lb, there are also Eels, Roach, Gudgeon, Chubb, Crucian Carp and Rudd.
You might also see one of the Terrapins basking in the sun!
Harwood Hall can be fished from dawn to dusk with a day ticket available from the bailiff on the bankside.
Rules :
All persons using the fishery do so entirely at their own risk.
Becmain Angling Society accept no liability for any accident or injury to any persons or property whatsoever.
Any person leaving litter, lighting fires, causing damage and/or making any noise such as shouting will be banned from the fishery.
Lead shot and lead weights under 1oz are banned.
Manufactured barbless hooks to be used only.
All persons must be in possession of a current E.A. fishing licence.
Fishing is from dawn to dusk. The gate to the car park will be locked by the council at dusk
No rods may interfere with another anglers swim.
No night fishing.
No radios.
No climbing fences.
No boating.
No particle baits.
No bait boats.
No nuts of any kind.
Keepnets at the bailiffs discretion.
No braided mainline.
Unhooking mats to be used.
No carp sacks.
No swimming.
Landing nets to be dipped.

Turn right into Upminster Road,
follow it throught the width restriction go past Berwick Pond Rd and at the next junction,
turn right into Park Farm Rd.
Just before you come to Harwood Hall Lane,there is a small entrance on the right signed "Parklands".
Drive down the dirt road to the car park.
