Heskin Old Hall Farm

Three ponds available for fishing all easily accessible and with colour coded signs.

Anglers are welcome to fish the pond of their choice unless there is a match on or a pond is closed for any other reason - please check in the ticket office on arrival for details if you have a particular pond in mind.

Pond 2 has a peg designed to aid disabled fishers and parking adjacent to the peg is available by request.

Pond 1 :

This was the first pond developed. It has excellent shelter and fishes well all year round and especially well in winter. Stocks include Common Carp up to 30lb, Mirrors to 30lb, Bream to 3lb, Tench to 4lb, Perch to 3lb Roach to 2lb & Rudd to 1lb.

Pond 2 :

This is the most popular pond as it is closest to the car park and at the moment is the easiest to fish. There is, however, no natural shelter from the elements so it is advisable to bring your own. Pond 3 :

This is the biggest of the 3 ponds and has its own little island. A well established water that fishes well all year. There are no carp in this pond but plenty of Tench up to 7lb, Bronze & Silver Bream up to 4lb, Perch to 3lb and also good quality Golden Orf, Gudgeon, Roach & Rudd.
