The pool is fully oxygenated so good fishing is virtually guaranteed all year round.

Deans Pool :

With a total of 64 Pegs this water is actually fished as two pools "Front Deans" (33 pegs) and "Back Deans" (31 pegs).
Deans is really mainly a match water but is it available to pleasure anglers when not in use for competitions.
Both pools are fully oxygenated and heavily stocked with average size common, mirror, ghost and leather carp up to 20lb in weight.
Plus there are tench running to 6lbs, bream to 4lbs, barbel to 4lbs, perch to 3lbs, roach and rudd to 2lbs, golden orfe to 2lbs, chub to 1lb and a large head of crucians and skimmer bream.
Depths range from three to four feet to the right hand side of the pools as you look at them from the clubhouse, they both run down to seven feet to an even bottom which is fairly featureless to give all anglers an equal chance of catching.
An ideal water for pleasure anglers, club bookings, high profile contests and open matches that are frequently won with weights in excess of 100lb.
Most anglers set their own personal best on these pools and it is not uncommon to have 5 anglers in excess of 100lb. per match.

Ghost Pool :

Ghost Pool is a competition water and is stocked with small carp to 8lb, small tench, skimmer bream, perch and roach.
At an acre in size, it holds 25 pegs and is often fished by anglers using either the waggler or feeder out in the centre on maggots, caster, sweetcorn, meat or pellets.
Although there are large numbers of fish in the 8oz to 1lb range, winning match catches average about 70lbs whilst the good head of silver fish mean the pool fishes well in both summer and winter.
Because Ghost Pool is reserved for high-profile competitions it is not available to pleasure anglers.
It is fed daily when not being fished which may account why many anglers achieve their personal best weight on this pool.
Ccompetitions on this water have been regularly won with weights in excess of 100lbs.

Hay and Barley Pools :

Back-to-back pools, known affectionately to regulars as "The Twins".
Hay and Barley Pools are canal type lakes about ¾'s of an acre in size and approx 20 metres wide with 20 pegs each.
Fishing on both lakes is from only one side only therefore making them ideal for fishing the pole.
Both pools hold mainly small carp from 8oz to 4lbs with some going to 8lb, plus some small tench, skimmer bream, perch and roach.
As with Ghost Pool, these pols are not available to pleasure anglers and are used only for high profile contests.

High Pool :

The deepest of the Woodland View waters, High Pool also holds the biggest fish, being popular not only with anglers going after the venue's carp which run to 25lbs plus many in double figures but also with those after the 10lb plus barbel in the lake.
At an acre in size with 35 pegs, High Pool is unlike the other pools in that it ranges from eight to 10 feet deep and has an irregular bottom, making plumbing worth the effort for those in search of holes and features.
Stocked with a wide variety of species, it again holds big shoals of roach and rudd with catches of 60lbs in one sitting not being unusual whilst the pool record of 160lb was taken in five hours.
In addition to attracting pleasure anglers, High Pool is also a popular competition venue with the record currently standing at over 200lbs for a five hour match.
For both pleasure and match angling, the pole and waggler are both popular with waggler anglers fishing further out towards the centre of the pool.
Despite its depth, few anglers use the feeder.
Whilst maggots, casters and pellets are all popular baits on this water, anglers going for the carp and barbel tend to use sweetcorn and worm although by and large the bigger fish will tend to have whatever you put in front of them.

Woodland Pool :

Woodland Pool has proved to be a great favourite with children, pensioners and less able-bodied anglers and is widely regarded as the most prolific water on the fishery offering some 'easy' fishing.
At ½ an acre in size with 22 pegs, Woodland is heavily stocked with most species of coarse fish including a large head of roach and rudd to 1lb, mirror, common and leather carp to 12lbs, crucians to about 1lb as well as tench, bream and even chub.
Anglers are requested to note that children 12 years old or less must be accompanied by an adult when at Woodland View Fishery.
This is one of those waters where virtually anything goes whatever the weather or time of year. Because of its size, pole and waggler fishing are most popular whilst favoured baits include maggots, casters, sweetcorn, luncheon meat and pellets.
Because of the large head of rudd, great sport can also be had in summer fishing shallow with maggots or caster picking off the fish as the cruise on or just under the surface.
Children often report that they have caught between 200 and 300 fish at a sitting.
Fishing equipment has been donated by Elgar Worcester Round Table for use by under privileged and special needs children for use on Woodlands Pool, this equipment can be used free of charge additionally no peg fees are charged.
